Recent Field Trips – Witty’s Lagoon and Steveston
Steveston field trip to see historic displays of the once great salmon fishing industry developed largely by efforts of Japanese Canadian settlers. One of a few large canneries that produced a number of fish products valuable to the BC and Canadian economy. For visitors numerous interpretive signs draw interest around the retired machinery.
