Mycologist and principal of Mycologue: Dr. Kendrick will talk about soil fungi and the role they play in healthily functioning forest ecosystems. The world of fungi is largely hidden. Perhaps that’s what makes them so exciting. Amazing new technologies now allow us to view the role they play in passing nutrients and chemical messengers between and among species in the forest, sometimes selectively. How do we know?
